Paperclip support
It’s just me here. Email support@offmetalabs.com and a human (me) replies, usually within a day.
Common questions
What files does Paperclip open?
Outlook .msg message files, winmail.dat (TNEF) attachments, and .eml files. Messages nested inside other messages open in place, and calendar invites found inside winmail.dat can be exported as working .ics files.
Do I have to pay to read a file?
No. Viewing is free, forever: the full message, formatting, and attachments. The one-time $10 Paperclip Pro purchase unlocks export and conversion, batch convert, and Quick Look.
Is a subscription coming?
No.
A file won’t open. What now?
That’s a bug, and I treat it like one. Use the in-app report (it describes the file’s structure to me without ever including its content), or email the address above and tell me what happened. If something in a file truly can’t be recovered, Paperclip will already have told you what and why.
Where does my mail go when I open it?
Nowhere. Everything happens on your Mac. No telemetry, no analytics, no account, no server. The privacy policy is short and worth the read.
Refunds?
Purchases run through Apple, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. If you get stuck, email me and I’ll help you find the right path.
